A massive 10.000 people have been evacuated from shopping malls, train stations, a stadium and other buildings, after a terrorist threat in Russia. There were warnings that buildings had been rigged with explosives. In total, 190 sites have been evacuated across 17 Russian cities after bomb threats, a security source told RIA news agency.
“This appears to be a case of telephone terrorism, but we have to check the credibility of these messages,” an emergency service source told Tass news agency. The phone calls began simultaneously, and continued after the evacuations had begun.

Earlier this week, thousands of people were evacuated after a similar series of anonymous phone calls. These hoax calls appeared to come from the Ukraine, security services said.
